Roblox verification for members

Let Discord members prove which Roblox account is theirs, in any server.

Verification works in every server that has the RoWarden bot. It does not need an experience, a RoWarden account or a plan.

In any server

  1. Add the bot with the public link /api/discord/invite on this site (it only asks for Manage Roles, Manage Nicknames, View Channels, Send Messages and Embed Links, not Administrator).
  2. Someone with Manage Server runs /verifypanel in the channel for the panel, optionally with a role that verified members get (no_role stops giving one).
  3. Members press Verify, or run /verify. They prove their Roblox account with Roblox sign-in or a code in their profile.

The bot's role has to be above the verified role in Server Settings → Roles. If a RoWarden account already links the person's Discord to Roblox (from the website or another server), pressing Verify is enough: no new proof, one click per server. RoWarden never verifies anyone in a server on their own.

/unverify forgets the verification in that server and removes the verified role. The account link stays; people remove it under Account on the website.

In a server that is not connected to an experience only /verify, /unverify, /verifypanel, /help, /login and /2fa work.

In a server connected to an experience

Everything above works too, and /verifypanel needs the Configure Discord integration permission on the experience. /syncverify gives the role to a member whose Roblox account is already linked on RoWarden, and /retrieveroblox shows the primary Roblox account a member verified in this server (nobody else's accounts, and only the primary one).

The verified nickname format can be set, with placeholders for the Roblox name.

Privacy

RoWarden stores the link between the Discord and Roblox accounts on the person's RoWarden account and which servers they verified in. See the privacy policy.
